Pastoral Staff
Pastor Mark Poorman
A 1983 graduate of Maranatha Baptist Bible College, Pastor Poorman became senior pastor of Woodcrest Baptist Church in July of 2002. He served on the pastoral staff for 17 years as the Associate Pastor and was responsible for our outreach program, bus ministry, and myriad of other things. His desire is to bring the message of salvation to those who are lost and in need of a Savior; and for those who are saved, to encourage them in greater service to the Lord. Pastor Poorman and his wife Connie have four children; Mark, Troy, LeAnna, and Katie.

Pastor Bruce Cournoyer
Pastor Cournoyer joined the pastoral staff in May of 1996, taking on the responsibility of directing our teens through their Junior High and High School years. Discipling, teaching, counseling, encouraging, and planning name only a few of the responsibilities Pastor Cournoyer handles prayerfully and skillfully. Bruce graduated from Maranatha Baptist Bible College in 1988, and his energy and love for God are a great asset to our youth. Pastor Cournoyer and his wife Kathy have two children; Brittany and Brett.

Pastor Loren Paulson
While attending Woodcrest Baptist Church in 1985, Pastor Paulson surrendered his life to full-time ministry. He went on to Maranatha Baptist Bible College, graduating in 1992. Pastor Paulson served as the Music Director of Calvary Baptist Church/San Francisco Christian School in California for 14 years and Assistant Music Director/Teacher at High Point Baptist Chapel and Academy in Pennsylvania for 3 years. He has worked extensively with youth and adults in establishing music programs which bring honor to the Lord. He has also ministered in the areas of visitation, teaching, Sunday School and being a help with the day to day responsibilities of ministry, through both the local church and Christian school. In August, 2009, Pastor Paulson, along with his wife Diane, and son, Curtis, returned to the ministry of Woodcrest Baptist Church as Assistant Pastor.
